PROJECT OVERVIEW
With 5 bedrooms and 4 baths this home is situated on a large lot at the top of a hill. Built-in the 60’s the home needed more functionality and lots of TLC.

PROJECT CHALLENGES
The homeowners came to us with a story we hear a lot… “But we have kid! So whatever we do, it needs to be beautifully designed but functional, and kid (and dog) proof too.”
PROJECT RESULTS
With a family friendly mindset, we listened to the client’s wish list of materials and incorporated them into our design. In the bathrooms we executed palettes with natural materials including marble and cement tiles. Contrasting bold and light colors we created a great balance speaking to the mid-century aesthetic. A bathtub in one bathroom and an extra large shower in the other gives the home lots of versatility as their children grow. You see cement tiles again in the laundry room where function wins the day. The functional design of a laundry room is so critical. As it turns out, when you have space for all the “laundry things,” doing laundry really isn’t so bad!
